Buffets
The most popular means of dining in Las Vegas is, by, far, the Buffet. This dining revolution started when Herb McDonald put a “Buckaroo” late night Buf-fet inside the El Rancho hotel, in 1946. Even though the El Ran-cho has long since closed, buffets have permanently taken their place in Las Vegas.
Nearly every hotel and casino in the valley has one, and they vary in style and quality just as much as the hotels do. Some favorites include the Paris Buffet, The Mandalay Bay Seafood Buffet and the Mirage Buffet.
